I’ve noticed there’s not much a quick daytrip, a fixie bike ride, a long run on the beach, a cupcake and a mini mug of espresso can’t patch up. When it comes to working through life, the universe, and everything, sometimes you just need a change of scene, a radical shift in plans, and the freedom to step away from your real life and check out the big picture.
With that notion in mind, I offer a change of Runner’s Delight format for just today: a quick photo essay of my morning in Santa Barbara. Imagine 68 degree weather, a light breeze, a quick pick-up game of volleyball with strangers, and the potential to run into Rob Lowe or Oprah at any moment.
Sit back, enjoy, and find something different you can do to feel alive and healthy today.
